Stolen Mobile Phones

My phones were stolen at a xerox copy shop at the Assumption Road about 30 minutes ago. I was fixing my papers for some moments. I left it on top of a shelf and probably forgot all about it and when I went back to ask after about 10 minutes, the shop owners told me they have not seen it.

The numbers are +639166599450 and +639287371208.

I will still process a replacement of both mobile numbers sim card.

Meantime, I am using +639268296875

Kids & Teens @ Green Parks amidst Loakan Industrial Area

Exhibitions at the park

I happened to pass by the kids practicing their dances. Some were playing with solibao, ganza and this kids were also practicing their exhibitions.

It is amazing to find parks amidst huge industrial areas. I wish there are more parks around the city where people could freshen themselves and remember that we are basically humans who need the energy from the wood, grass, trees and the fresh air, not just the money we make from factories.

Environmentally Friendly Means of Transport - - -

I wish the streets have better path to an environmentally friendlier means of transportation. (Mentioning the obvious: the bicycle, the horse and walking.)

Horses or Cars?

Traffic at The Loakan Airport

Waiting for my turn to use the runway :-)

Going To Park (is that how it is called? park?)

Departure of Sky Pasada

Ceasar Montano and Family Chartered Helicopter

Crossing the runway today was quite interesting. We had to wait for the small air plane that came from Manila (Sky Pasada) to land, and then a helicopter whereby the actor Ceasar Montano and his family were riding, and then when we thought we could cross over, an aviation school plane arrive. Worse is the first plane that arrived has to leave.

All in less than an hour :-)

Achievers Business Club @ Pine Breeze, Bokawkan - great for functions

Last Tuesday night, we were invited for an Achievers Business Club meeting and the venue is at the Pine Breeze Compound, Bokawkan Road. The place is great. We experienced the breeze from the pines. I wish that we can maintain the whole Baguio to be just like the place.

The meeting went great. We were reminded that only God gives grace, only God heals, only God can extend life. No matter how much money one makes, money cannot buy everything one person wants. Instead strengthen our hearts and our relationship with each other especially our creator. It was a great reminder. Because I myself experienced a great slump down due to health problems.

In the socialization, I won in the competition and got myself a gift certificate for a FREE MASSAGE from Asian Travelers Inn and Spa. I haven't used it yet but I saw the place and the masseurs seem to be friendly and they are accredited with many hotels in Baguio City.

We were invited by our sponsor, Ms. Aileen Cabjuan, she owns Gablets Catering Services and Restaurant @ the Upper Session Road, Baguio City. We had dinner on Wednesday at Gablets and loved the 99ers whereby meat, vegetables, juice and soup are packed as rice toppings. All tasted great, from the soup to the fruit juice. It tasted like the chef loves what he is doing.

The meeting is great, we truly enjoyed the meeting and intend to attend some more of it.

Happily Healing Foot

Walking is what I love to do, not running. And my equipment for everything I do is a great pair of feet.
Happily after many months of suffering, my feet are getting back in great condition.

Mount Pulag Tour during a November Rains

While Baguio City and its neighboring towns are experiencing less than slight rains and occasional thunderstorms, Mount Pulag has a different story of exciting wind & fog all around :-)

Camping at the Saddle Camp is different for us and the guides perhaps we can safely say, the first time in the history of Saddle Camp. We had to set up camp inside the emergency hut! And the whole evening, I was wondering if the emergency shelter will be blown away by the raging wind.

Due to wind, and the wet feeling,  I did not dare bring out the camera anymore.

However, the following are the inspiring words Mr. G should people feel sorry about us not seeing the sunrise, "have you seen the fog?".
Mr. Chris Green, Ms. Ashley & myself before leaving to check out. This was taken at the Ranger Station.

The wet and slippery finish line. One can just imagine how it is at the grasslands.

A roll of abaca rope, terypro manila rope, kernmantle rope, steel carabiner, steel rescue 8, ascender, gloves, helmet, 13mm pulley, 60mm pulley, full body harness are just a few of the equipment needed for rescue, retrieval. Municipalities are now challenged to maximize the use of their newly increased budgets effectively.

Vehicle Retrieval incident between Tinoc and Buguias

On my way  from Tinoc towards Buguias, we had to stop on the road to wait for a retrieval operation to finish.

I dropped by the Buguias Fire Station to chat, and I mentioned having encountered the incident. They were not informed so they could be dispatched and help out.

Basics on Mountaineering Courses useful for Disaster & Rescuing

The municipality of Tinoc, Ifugao were very happy to have received trainings and instructions on Basics on Ropes Courses on November 3&4, 2011.

Led by the Head of the Municipal Disaster Risk and Reduction Council Ms. Rosemarie Carino and wth the blessing given by the Municipal Council and its Mayor, we were able to bring to them the seemingly purely recreational skills.

More trainings are being prepared for the municipaity to avail.
