It was not easy and a bit emotional on my part because we once used to go up and down the mountain freely and due to the commercialization and popularity caused by some telenovela's, a once refuge and sanitarium for some became like a "tourist" destination - tourists without orientation and background of how their presence affects the balance of nature.

Fortunately, the family I was with are very understandable despite the family we were supposed to visit were not around:-(

Mount Cabuyao, Santo Tomas needs a lot of protection indeed.
